Viewing from a Higher Perspective

Today it is going so much on in our close relationships, work and politics. Whatever happens, it is important to get into balance and a feeling of inner harmony again. Those things might disturb your inner peace: 1.) It is so easy to feel afraid, fear or maybe even panic. 2.) It is also human to get angry, or label people as right or wrong.

Maybe there is another higher perspective. Maybe each time you feel fear it is an opportunity for you bring in the light again. Here is how you could do it:

1.) It is ok to feel angry, panicked or simply afraid. But we always have the choice to simply let that feeling move through our body (instead of holding onto to it or suppressing it), knowing that we are so much more than those feelings. After letting all these emotions pass through you, you can choose again to turn inwards and feel your heart. Just sit and touch your heart gently for a moment. Feel the inner joy and trust that is naturally inside you. You now have the perspective to choose differently.

2.) Instead of focusing on your point of view or trying to find fault in another’s point of view choose happiness. Do you want to be happy, or do you want to be right? You can simply choose to let everyone make his or her own decisions. Everyone has an inner guide, just as we do, and we have to trust that everyone is following his or her own compass and has the strength to cope with whatever the decision is leading that person to.

There is a huge collective fear and anger right now for many different reasons. Instead of contributing to the collective fear and anger, take care of your own and dissolve it. When you clear your emotions and feel more relaxed and calm you are able to connect in a deeper way with others.

May this upcoming winter holiday be a time for you to enjoy your time with family and friends. It is important to concentrate on the good in our live, be grateful, and to focus on the joy of life.

When feeling overwhelmed stillness can bring a feeling of serenity and from there a better ability to organize your tasks or even dropping a few. When feeling angry, blessing the people you are angry with or being grateful for what is good in your life can feel good. If you are feeling afraid, just breathe and feel your sitting bones on the chair or on your mat. Feel and sense what is happening now.

A focus on personal wellbeing helps you to get back into balance. Feel what you feel, know, you are different from your feelings and choose to change your channel of attention. You can envision your dream of the future and feel into it with a light, grateful heart. This will help you to navigate happier and peaceful through these times.
